I worked at a company that we had to wear safety glasses. OSHA mandated that if they are requiring you to wear safety glasses and you have prescription glasses then they have to provide for your prescription safety glasses. If I were you I would check with OSHA in your state and see what their guidelines are. Don't you have the splash shields that they use in hospitals?
