most of those questions are your own choice channels is how many speakers your going to put on it so 2 channels for 2 speakers.
well you do not want an amp to strong mabey an 800 watt amp would sound good because 800watts by two speakers would be 400watts of power to each speaker. that could be allitle much. alot time people power a speaker jus by the rms rating they would get a 2 ch 200 watt amp.
i got my kenwood bridged to my jensen both 600 watt powering my 12in pioneer 800watt and my 12in kicker 1200watt getting another to 600watt 2 channel amp for my door and back pannel but useing a 2ch amp though will recude the ohms
i have never used an equalizer though many people tell me i should try it. if you have the money why not, but dont neglect the power bill for it.
