I am going to be having european virgin human hair extensions fitted soon using the micro ring method (no glue or bonds)
My hair is coloured and fairly dry
I am going on holiday soon after having the extensions fitted and am concerned that my own hair and the extensions will dry out so am looking for good quality shampoo and conditioner to use along with protection spray while on hols.
Then also advice on what are good products to use when back home?

Hmm there are so many. Joico products work really well on extension hair, as do Giovanni products. The mani thing you want to look for is a pH balanced shampoo (sulfate-free and a pH of no higher than 7), a good conditioner, and a good DeepConditioner. If you could find alcohol-free products that would also be good. Pravana, Nexxus Hummectress, Dove (the one in the blue bottle works very well), and Garnier- Hello Hydration. You just have to find whats right for you. When extensions are truly virgin there is no "standard" product because all of the hair is different- theoretically, no 2 bundles of it can be exactly the same.
